Everton are finding their stride under Marco Silva and Marcel Brands, and the latter can get one over on their Merseyside rivals by moving for the next Naby Keita.
Liverpool fans were absolutely stunned by the Bundesliga displays of Keita, but the Guinean hasn’t really hit the ground running in the Premier League.
Everton could go one better by signing Amadou Haidara, who is in dominant form for Red Bull Salzburg.
The youngster was actually tipped to replace Keita at Leipzig due to their eerily similar styles of play, and his unique mixture of athleticism, technique and vision could make him Everton’s next superstar.
The Toffees haven’t really had a dynamic midfield maestro for quite some time, and Haidara could be everything fans hoped Tom Davies would be and so much more.

The 20-year-old can play pretty much anywhere across the midfield, able to use his wiry strength and close control to dribble his way out of tight areas.
He was at his very best as Salzburg romped past Rosenborg in the Europa League on Thursday night, completing 91 per cent of his passes and making one key pass.
Everton already have a midfield destroyer in Idrissa Gueye and a playmaker in Gylfi Sigurdsson, so Haidara’s all-action style of play could add the perfect balance in the middle of the park.
He took four shots in the win over Rosenborg, and also did his fair share of tracking back with four tackles, two clearances and two fouls.
While he only completed one dribble in the match, he was fouled on four occasions, mainly due to the fact that it is simply impossible to get the ball off him fairly.
Everton are rebuilding impressively under the leadership of Brands and Silva, and moving for Haidara would add yet another young starlet to their ranks.
So, Toffees fans, would you back a move for the all-action Salzburg star? Let us know your thought by voting in the poll below…
