Everton confirmed on Tuesday evening that attacker Sandro Ramirez would be leaving the club on loan to Sevilla until the end of the season, subject to a medical.
The Spaniard only joined the Toffees last summer when he made the switch from Malaga for a reported £5.25m after an impressive 2016/17 season. However, he’s struggled to replicate his 16-goal haul of last term, netting just once in 15 appearances so far on Merseyside.
Having made just six starts though, fans feels he should have been given a great chance in the first team and have slated the decision to let him leave on loan so early in his Everton career.
Given his potential and goal scoring ability, it does seem like a misstep to let him leave the club without giving him a proper run of games.
The 22-year-old leaves with the best wishes of supporters, who didn’t miss with their criticism of Everton on Twitter in the wake of the news…
